In fire protection design, we adopt the FSE – Fire Safety Engineering – approach when prescriptive regulations are not enough.
We use FDS analysis to simulate the spread of fire and smoke, CFAST analysis to monitor the spread of smoke and toxic gases, and EVAC analysis to study human behavior in emergency situations.
